HOW TO REPRODUCE VALUABLE ORIGINALS |
|
|
|
|
|
Common or garden scanners are incapable of capturing
images of fine works of art. Also, the originals are often quite
large, difficult to handle, and valuable! So you need to do
things differently, and handle materials with care. Whenever
we are asked to digitise works of arts, paintings and historical
documents, our aim at Fotolabor M is to reproduce the original
as accurately as possible. Ideally, if you stand the two next
to each other, original and reproduction, you should not be
able to tell them apart!
The first realistic solution for digitising works of art and
original certificates comes from Cruse, with its large screen
scanner. This scanner does not come into contact with the original.
It also scans gently and carefully, and illumination levels
are kept uniform throughout the whole process. The results:
crystal clear, and incredibly true to life.
